Engineered Process Additive for Nylon Resin and Compounds

STRUKTOL^® TR 063A is a unique process additive designed specifically for use in polyamides.  Whether you need improved filler dispersion, lower process temperatures or better metal release, our additive - through its exceptional compatibility with the polymer - is the solution you have been looking for.

A loading level of 0.5 – 2.0% of STRUKTOL^® TR 063A is all you need to achieve:

• Lower equipment motor loads, reduced torques and pressures
• Less die and screw wear from highly abrasive compounds
• Significant reduction of die “beard” formation
• Lower viscosities
• Retained physical properties

Performance of STRUKTOL^® TR 063A

15% glass filled nylon 66 compound

Nylon compounds containing STRUKTOL^® TR 063A have been shown to run without beard formation on the edges of dies for significantly longer periods of time than compounds without it.  This is due to the superior metal release characteristics provided by our additive resulting in smoother extrusions, fewer compound/part defects and increased productivity.  Not only will the improvements be seen during the compounding stage, but end-processors will also see lower machine torques and pressures and a more consistent, user friendly compound.
