Ionic |
|
An
extremely effective lubricant and wetting agent that
can be used in a wide variety of polymer systems.
Also provides release characteristics. |
|
Similar
to TR 016
except the calcium ion is replaced by a zinc ion.
Works well in HIPS, PS and color concentrates. |
|
An
efficient lubricant system that works extremely well
in filled and unfilled nylon for processability improvement
and increased output rates. |
|
A
blend of anionic and nonionic surfactants for areas
where EBS is being used. An effective dispersant and
wetting agent for pigments and fillers in a wide variety
of polymer systems. TR
255 is the FDA version. |
|
Specifically designed for use in highly loaded
mineral filled polyolefins. This unique additive
allows compounders to utilize untreated minerals
while maintaining or improving the processing and
physical property characteristics typically associated
with treated minerals. Additional Information |
Non-Ionic |
|
A
nonionic, ester-based wetting agent for polar fillers
and pigments used for improved dispersion and metal
release. Contains no metal ions. TR
045 is the FDA version. |
|
Provides
flow and metal release with little or no effect
on physical properties in most polymer systems.
The best choice for polar or engineering resins.
Very good heat stability. |
|
Designed
to provide improved processing characteristics
of filled and unfilled polyamides. Typical
improvements at the compounding stage are reduced
die build-up (“die bearding”) and die
drool. For injection molding applications,
processors can expect to see better flow and mold
filling vs. typical lubricants such as metal stearates
or amide waxes. |
Resinous |
|
A
compatibilizer and blending aid that reduces splay
in colored and/or filled olefins. Extremely compatible
with olefins and can be used to increase extrusion
output rates. Click here for Recycled Content Compound |
Amides |
|
Primary
oleamide used as a slip agent in polyolefins. Its
uniform bloom makes it a valuable flow and release
agent in thermoplastics and thermoset elastomers. |
|
Erucic
acid amide used as a higher temperature slip agent.
Its slower migration rate is beneficial for printing
films. |
|
Saturated
primary amide which blooms in an invisible monolayer
for surface appearance. Improved surface in rotomolded
compounds. |
|
Ethylene
bisstearamide wax for a wide range of polymers
used for improved dispersion of pigments and fillers
and viscosity modification. TR EBS VG is manufactured
from high quality vegetable acid with low iodine
value. |
Other |
|
DSTDP
and DLTDP thioester secondary antioxidants for
use in conjunction with phenolic primary antioxidants
in a wide range of polymers. |
|
Designed
as a processing aid and mold release. It
also works especially well in polypropylene to
modify viscosity. Additional

This product was developed as an odor mask for
PE and PP WPC products. In some cases the
fillers or the recycled plastic in a WPC formula
impart bad odors in the final product. This
is particularly offensive in automotive applications
where high temperature will make the odors worse. Click

Simple
and complex fatty acid esters for use in a wide range
of PVC applications. Act as viscosity modifiers, metal
release agents and processing improvers. |
Metal
Stearates |
|
A
high purity micro-bead or pellet form of zinc stearate.
Used extensively in resin production, compounding
and color concentrate production. Other grades include
Vegetable Grade and Clear Melt. |
