Equistar Chemicals’ Integrate™ NE542 and NP507 series of compounds are polyethylene and polypropylene-based coupling agents developed for wood-plastic composite (WPC) applications. WPC minimizes many of the maintenance and appearance problems associated with treated wood use in outdoor applications. Typical formulations for WPC are approximately 60 percent wood/natural fibers, 30 percent plastic and 2 percent Integrate coupling agents.

WPC CAN BE USED IN THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS:

Building Products – Decking/Railing, Fencing, Window/Door Profiles, Finish Trim and Siding
Industrial/Consumer – Park Benches and Tables, Trash Receptacles, Pallets, Crates, Signage, Landscape Timbers and Railroad Ties
