Dr. Kristina Platkowski has been appointed CEO of the Schill+Seilacher Group

With immediate effect, Dr. Kristina Platkowski (57) will become the new CEO of the Schill+Seilacher Group. She succeeds Dr. Rüdiger Ackermann, who stepped down from the position and left the Group in April 2023.
In times of increasing geopolitical challenges, resilient, functioning supply chains as well as intelligent logistics and production management are important success factors for companies - also for Schill+Seilacher as a global specialty chemicals company.
Experienced operations manager
Dr. Kristina Platkowski studied chemical process engineering and has held responsible management positions at various large international companies in recent years. Until December 2022 she was with HB Fuller, most recently as Head of Manufacturing responsible for production, planning, maintenance and EHS issues. Since 2023/01/01, she has already fullfilled the role of Chief Operating Officer for the Schill+Seilacher Group.

STRUKTOL® VMO series products with low odor will provide the ability to adjust the melt flow of PP for faster throughput rates and ultimately, cost savings
Struktol Company of America, a leading global supplier of polymer additives introduces its VMO line of products for modifying the melt flow, MFI (Melt Flow Index) of polypropylene. These products are unique in that they include an odor neutralizer which will greatly reduce odor in the final compound. In addition, they allow manufacturers to very easily raise the MFI of a polypropylene to meet their processing and compound requirements. Each product is in a STRUTKOL lubricant/process aid making a pellet masterbatch form that can be easily incorporated into the polymer or compound. These products also offer the ability to be introduced not only during extrusion/compounding but can also be used directly in injection molders.
